Where We Install Metal Roofing
Monticello and six neighboring communities across Wright and Sherburne counties. Each one files permits differently, and we work with all of them.
Seven communities, three permit counties
We are based in Monticello and work a tight radius around it. That is deliberate. A roofing company covering forty cities is quoting half of them from satellite imagery; we would rather be on site the same week and know which building department wants what.
One thing worth knowing if you are on the east side: Otsego shares ZIP code 55362 with Monticello. Insurance paperwork, material deliveries and permit applications get misrouted between the two more than anywhere else we work, so we confirm jurisdiction by parcel rather than by ZIP code.

Dense post-1995 subdivisions where roof lines repeat street to street — and where an association may have something to say about panel color.

Open ground west of town along the I-94 corridor, where wind uplift at the eave and rake matters more than it does in a sheltered Monticello cul-de-sac.
Drive times from our base
| Community | Drive | County | Permits filed with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monticello | — | Wright County | City of Monticello Building Safety Department |
| Big Lake | about 10 minutes | Sherburne County | City of Big Lake — verify jurisdiction for addresses in Big Lake Township |
| Becker | about 15 minutes | Sherburne County | City of Becker — verify jurisdiction for addresses in Becker Township |
| Otsego | about 12 minutes | Wright County | City of Otsego |
| Albertville | about 16 minutes | Wright County | City of Albertville |
| St. Michael | about 18 minutes | Wright County | City of St. Michael |
| Clearwater | about 13 minutes | Wright County | City of Clearwater — Wright County side; verify for Stearns County addresses |
Drive times are approximate and assume normal conditions on Highway 25 and I-94. Township addresses on the edge of a city boundary occasionally fall under a different permit authority than the mailing address suggests — we confirm jurisdiction before filing, not after.
Common questions
No. Everywhere on this page is inside a twenty-minute drive, and the travel is not material against the cost of a roof. What changes the price is roof complexity, not your ZIP code.
Often, yes — Buffalo, Elk River, Rogers, Zimmerman and Annandale are all within reach. We have built pages only for the communities we work in most, so call and ask rather than assuming we do not cover you.
We do, with whichever city has jurisdiction. Big Lake and Becker are Sherburne County; Otsego, Albertville, St. Michael and Clearwater are Wright County. Addresses in the surrounding townships sometimes fall to a different desk, which we confirm before filing.
